About The Cedar Society
Welcome to the home of The Cedar Society. We are a non-partisan, non-sectarian group dedicated to free and open discussion on the pressing policy issues in Lebanon today.
We feel that the best approach to solving these problems is technocratic in nature and as such, the Society seeks to inform policy discussions with academic rigour and practical technical experience.
We encourage participation from a diverse group of interested parties and insist that this discussion take the form of well-researched discourse and informed examination of policy issues rather than a political debate. Our quarterly symposia serve as an opportunity to work with like-minded members of The Society to produce Working Papers for dissemination to Civil Society and Government.
